I Love Oprah!

There I said it.  I've resisted it for 25 years.  I used to be annoyed because, even though one can't deny all the amazingly wonderful things she does for so many people, it always bugged me how public she made it.  And every interview always became about her. UGH!!  Drove me nuts.  But you know what...she's grown on me.  I kind of like her. Whatever her quirks - and we all have them - she really uses her celebrity and her money to help our world and society.  And you know what - she SHOULD get credit for that.  She SHOULD give herself a pat on the back. So there you have it.  I love her.  Now...anyone know how I can meet her??

    I love Oprah too. I love how she's not afraid to show that she's excited about things to -- I mean, seeing her be surprised by Jackie Jackson was just exactly what I would be like if Joey McIntyre showed up at my front door. She's a gabillionaire, but she's never too cool.

    Great comparison, Laura. And if I were a gabillionaire, I'd dish it out just like Oprah, too. And I'd be so giddy and happy that I was able to do that, that I'd probably be just like her.

    I love Oprah too. She is fabulous is so many ways, and she is an amazing example for young girls too. I love everything about her...from her sparkly earings, to her book club, to her school for girls. I will be sad when her show is over. I don't get to watch it much, but it is always a shiny jewel on TV that I "might" get the chance to enjoy.

    I'm obsessed with her new OWN network...except it's not on HD yet...but I"ll sacrifice the HD for her.
